While we were working on the Eumind project, we discovered a few things with the group from India.
First of all we learned off coarse a lot about solar energy itself: what it is, how you can use it, and for what you can use it. Then we discovered that you can (easily) build an object that is working on solar panels ourselves. We told each other in the groups app what we were making and how our projects look like. The thing that the Indian group was making, was a power bank that works on solar energy. And we made a candymachine. Other things we discovered with the Indian people was about culture. Such as food, transport, etc. And that we have a difference in time. That made it sometimes difficult to communicate with each other. |

Indian group: Green Manufacturing Dutch school: Goese Lyceum Dutch group: Green Manufacturing The introduction of the Indian group is in text, and the introduction of our group is a video. The Indian group firstly interviewed some people, we didn't interview anyone. The Indian people had an online survey, which 20 people answered from different countries. The evidence of communication is approximately the same. We made a main and sub-research questions, which we all answered. That was our form of research. We mainly focused on how solar energy works, and the Indian pupils focused on if you were already using green energy and if you're willing to use it in the future. The second part of the project was building something. The Indian group made a solar power bank, and we made a candy machine. The Indian pupils clearly indicated how they made a solar power bank, and how much everything costs. We focused more on the end result and how it works. The Indian pupils created some awareness by an awareness activity. We didn't do that. |
